As an Arthur Murray student, you can always come into the studio to dance whenever the studio is open, but it can be nice to go out for dinner and social dancing now and then as well. Here is a list of some of the social ballroom dance options that are well within driving distance for the Coquitlam/Tri-Cities area.
Local Coquitlam/Tri-Cities Area Social Dancing:

Live band for dancing Thursdays (until 11pm) and Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights until 1am with taped dance music during the breaks. Italian menu of great food which is moderately priced. Nice new facility with a decent sized dance floor, friendly atmosphere and excellent service.
Live band for dancing on Friday and Saturday nights, taped dance music during breaks. Slightly formal atmosphere, nice place to get dressed up and go out to dance. Lounge is very open; small but nice dance floor to dance on.

Elegant dinner and dancing in the Copper Room. It has a huge following as a very popular ballroom dance destination. Fun house band that plays a wide mix of dance music covering a wide range of social dances. Phone ahead for reservations.
